Artwork Exhibition Celebrating CPC Centenary

An artwork exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) opened at Yueyang Art Museum on November 16. The exhibition features fine artworks of 26 artists to showcase and eulogize CPC¡¯s great success made during the past hundred years. 

The exhibition is under the guidance of the Hunan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism. It is hosted by the Yueyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio, and Television, and organized by the Yueyang Art Museum and the Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Institute of Yueyang City.

The 26 artists created 52 sets of artworks through various forms such as Chinese painting, oil painting, woodblock painting, watercolor painting, and comprehensive materials. The works are on display at the first and second exhibition halls of the museum, and are divided into three parts: glorious journey; clear water and green mountains; and, epitome of the times.

The exhibition will last till January 16, 2022.
