The Information Office of the Hunan Provincial People¡¯s Government held a press conference in Changsha on October 9, 2021. It announced that the 15th Hunan-Taiwan Cooperation Conference on Economy, Trade & Culture and the 1st Yuelu Mountain Forum on Industrial Cooperation Across the Straits (One Conference, One Forum in short) will be held in Changsha, Xiangtan, Yueyang, and Chenzhou between October 20 and 22.

The theme of this ¡°One Conference, One Forum¡± is ¡°Deepening Cooperation and Promoting Integrated Development¡±. It will be held both online and offline, and about 200 guests from Taiwan will attend.

According to the arrangements, the opening ceremony of ¡°One Conference, One Forum¡± will be held in Changsha on October 21. The Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan City Cluster Industrial Matchmaking Conference, the Electronic Information and Modern Agricultural Industrial Matchmaking Conference, and the Cooperation Matchmaking Conference for Undertaking the Industrial Transfer of Taiwan-funded Enterprises will be held respectively in Xiangtan, Yueyang, Chenzhou on October 22. There will be special activities such as industrial cooperation zone symposiums, Taiwan young entrepreneurs visiting Changsha, Taiwan youth cultural, scientific, and technological trips to Hunan, and investment inspection tours.

As a large-scale event for economic, trade, and cultural exchanges and cooperation between Hunan and Taiwan, the Conference has been held for 14 consecutive times since 2005. Over the years, relevant activities have always been adhering to the principle of serving Hunan-Taiwan economic, trade, and cultural exchanges and cooperation. It has effectively served the overall situation of the central government's work with Taiwan; expanded the new situation of Hunan-Taiwan exchanges; and, enhanced Hunan's influence in Taiwan. It has become one of the important platforms of cross-Straits exchange activity and a unique cross-Straits exchange brand in central China.
