Yueyang Tower Scenic Area Reopens

The Yueyang Tower Scenic Area has been reopened to the public since March 11.

About the Reopening

1. Opening hours (ticketing): 8: 30-17: 00.

2. Opening areas: the main building and all outdoor attractions in the scenic area. The Memorial Temple of Teng Zijing and Fan Zhongyan, "Falling in Love with Yueyang Tower" Exhibition Hall, Sanzui Pavilion, and stores are temporarily closed.

3. Visitors are advised to choose online real-name ticket booking. You can also buy tickets at the ticket hall of the scenic area by scanning a QR code. Either way, visitors need to carry the ID cards to go through ticket check.

4. During the reopening period, the scenic area does not offer guide service. Visitors can choose voice guide service by scanning a QR code.

Ticket Discounts

1. Between March 11 and April 30, 2020, a 50% discount is offered to all visitors.

2. Between March 11 and April 30, 2020, the price of the scenic area’s annual travel card is reduced from 90 yuan to 80 yuan. Local residents can purchase the annual travel card with their ID cards. Within the 1-year validity period, the travel card holder can take multiple visits to the scenic area.

3. Between March 11 and December 31, 2020, medical workers across the country can visit the scenic area free of charge by presenting their ID cards and valid qualification certificates such as physician's certificate and nurse's certificate. Their spouses can also get free admission by presenting their marriage certificates. Other free ticket policies are the same as before.

Notes for Visitors
1. In order to effectively prevent and control the epidemic and ensure visitors’ safety, all visitors should wear masks and other protective equipment when visiting the scenic area.

2. The scenic spot will take the body temperature of each visitor. Those with abnormal body temperatures will be led to a temporary isolation point for a rest. Their body temperatures will be checked again after 10 minutes. If the second-time temperatures also indicate abnormal condition, the scenic spot will report to the Yueyang CDC.

3. Visitors are required to visit the scenic area separately, keeping a distance of more than 1.5 meters from others. The gathering of crowds is forbidden. When the number of visitors reaches the warning level and the distance cannot be ensured, the scenic area will be closed in an urgent manner. Please cooperate with the orderly evacuation work then.

4. The scenic area will conduct real-time monitoring of the number of visitors, and arrange visitors to enter the scenic area at intervals. The total number of visitors will be controlled within  50% of the scenic area’s maximum carrying capacity. The number of visitors visiting the main building shall not exceed 25 at a time.
