Yueyang Excellent Artistic Works Exhibition

The Yueyang Excellent Artistic Works Exhibition to mark the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China will open at Yueyang Art Gallery on July 9. A total of 109 works will be on display till July 15.

The exhibition features traditional Chinese paintings, oil paintings, watercolors, engravings, sculpture, and ceramics, which are created based on natural scenery, history, figures, and time changes. It aims to carry forward outstanding traditions and celebrate the birthday of our motherland.

Held every five years, the event is a city-level exhibition with the highest standard. A group of excellent works will be selected for the Hunan Excellent Artistic Works Exhibition.

The exhibition is jointly organized by the Yueyang Municipal Bureau of Culture, Tourism, Radio and Television and the Yueyang Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles.
