The 2019 Our Holiday¡ªDuanwu Festival Series Activities and the 15th China (Miluo) International Dragon Boat Festival kicked off at Quzi Cultural Park on June 7. A ceremony worshiping Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet during the Warring States period (475 B.C.-221 B.C.), was held on the same day.

Duanwu folk cultural activities included dragon boat races, musical ¡°Qu Yuan¡±, Duanwu customs exhibition, intangible cultural heritage performances, and Duanwu fair.

A Cultural Week takes place at Quzi Cultural Pak between June 6 and 10. It features such activities as fun dragon boat races, ¡°Li Sao¡± (a poem by Qu Yuan) recitation to win a 5,000-yuan bonus, tourists wearing Hanfu visiting the park, a Guinness World Record Challenge, a flash mob, an AR cross-country race, a concert, and a tent festival.

The International Dragon Boat Rally Race will be held on Miluo River and at Quzi Cultural Park between June 14 and 17. A total of 16 teams from home and abroad will compete in 100-meter and 200-meter straight course races for open groups, and a 15-km rally race.
