2018 Yueyang Cyber Security Publicity Week

The 2018 Yueyang Cyber Security Publicity Week, themed “Network Security for the People, Network Security Relying on the People”, was launched on September 17. During the coming week, the city will hold a series of network security publicity programs.

The event was led by the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee Internet Information Office, and undertaken by the Yueyang Municipal Public Security Bureau and the Yueyang Municipal Economic and Information Committee. It aims to foster a well-round netizens with high level of security awareness, civilized network literacy, law-abiding behavioral habits, and necessary protective skills. The publicity week will adopt various forms such as exhibitions, forums, knowledge contests, as well as multiple channels of communication including newspapers, radio, TV stations, and websites. All the citizens were encouraged to participate in network security publicity and educational activities, to gain network security knowledge and enhance the awareness of network security and protective skills. The cyber security knowledge training and special lectures will be organized. New Network security technology, product display, application demonstration, matchmaking conference and other activities will also be held.
