Xitang Peach Blossom Festival 2018

With peach, pear and plum trees in full blossom, the "Xitang Peach Blossom Festival" 2018 kicked off in Yueyang Economic and Technological Development Zone on March 24th, attracting visitors across the country. 

"Festival will be a good way to promote rural tourism, and even all-for-one tourism, which is expected to boost industrial development. Rural vitalization can be then achieved by vitalizing industry. Acres of blooming peach trees have brought new vigor to Xitang, an old town with a history of more than 100 years. Under the background of rural vitalization, we have every reason to believe that the town will be granted with more glamorous peach blossoms and more thriving tourism. The local people's happiness index will also be improved", said Fang Min, secretary of the CPC Party Committee of Xitang Town.
