Dajitou is a well-known protruding rock in the middle reachers of Yangtze River. It is located in the north-west of Ma'an Hill in Lucheng Town in Yunxi district, Yueyang City.

Dajitou was originally built to tow the passing boats and serve as a beacon in Yangtze River in ancient times. In 2006, it was listed on the 8th batch of cultural relics under the protection by the Hunan Provincial People's Government. It is now on the shortlist of the 7th batch of key cultural relics under state protection and will soon been made public by State Council.
