The total annual passenger traffic volume hit 101 million, up 0.6% over the previous year. The passenger flows down by 7.0% to 4.929 billion ton-kilometers (railway passengers not included).

The number of motor vehicles for civilian use in the city amounted to 489,500 by the end of 2017, grew by 16.4% over the same period of last year. The number of vehicles that were newly registered in 2017 increased by 23% year on year to 95,900.

The post and telecommunications witnessed a rapid growth. The turnover of post and telecommunication services totaled 6.897 billion yuan (calculated at constant prices of 2010), up 19.1% over the previous year. Of the total, postal services were 1.07 billion yuan, up 30%, and telecommunication services 5.827 billion yuan, up 17.3%.

The total number of tourists was 48.9279 million in the year of 2017, with the revenue totaling 42.777 billion yuan. The number of inbound tourists was 303,000 with the tourism revenue hitting 139 million US dollars.
