Yueyang-made Elastomers Exported by China-Europe Freight Train
The first container of SEBS thermoplastic elastomer products, produced by the SINOPEC Baling Company, were exported to Europe from Changsha by a China-Europe Freight Train on June 17, 2021.
The SINOPEC Baling Company collaborated with the SINOPEC Chemical Commercial Holding Company Limited Central China Branch for this export order. This was the first export by train of SINOPEC Baling Company¡¯s environment-friendly thermoplastic elastomer product, which will help explore international market.
The China-Europe freight train service was opened on March 19, 2011, featuring short distance, fast speed, and high security. The trains run between China and European, and other Belt and Road countries, based on fixed train numbers and routes. Between this January and May, a total of 5,991 freight train trips and 573,000 TEUs have been operated, a year-on-year increase of 49% and 58% respectively.
These SEBS products will arrive in Hamburg of Germany within this month, taking 30 to 40 days shorter than that by sea. The SINOPEC Baling Company joined hands with the SINOPEC Chemical Commercial Holding Company Limited Central China Branch to communicate with clients, and meanwhile improved its efficiency in production, packing, and loading. These ensured a smooth transportation by the China-Europe freight train.
