Yueyang City Again Listed in National City GDP Top 100
21 Data News Lab released its listof ¡®City GDP Top 100 in the first half of 2018¡¯ a few days ago. Yueyang Cityhas been on the list for four consecutive years. It ranked 72ndplace among the Top 100 and second place in Hunan Province.
This year, Yueyang City¡¯s economymaintained sound momentum while achieving steady growth. Its Gross RegionalProduct was 150.838 billion CNY in the first half of 2018. This is an annual growthof 8%. Among the total, the added value of primary, secondary, and tertiaryindustries were:
¡¤Primary industry-16.865 billionCNY (up 3.3%);
¡¤Secondary industry-69.876 billionCNY (up 7.5%); and,
¡¤Tertiary industry-64.097 billionCNY (up 10.1%).
