Yueyang City Holds 2018 Investment Promotion Month Activities
On July 24, the Yueyang Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Food released a piece of news. It told that based on the deployment of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee and Yueyang Municipal Government in a unified way, activities of industry investment promotion month (ˇ°Monthˇ±) will be carried out throughout the city from July 20th to August 20th. The ˇ°Monthˇ± was proposed to conscientiously implement the basic thoughts of ˇ°one overall requirement, three key emphases in work, and five new arrangementsˇ±. Efforts of attracting businesses and investment will be further strengthened, and the important role of project investment in increasing investment, developing economy, and promoting development given full play.
The objectives of the ˇ°Monthˇ± are listed as follows:
1. The newly contracted projects of counties and cities should total 9.5 billion CNY; the number of newly started and new projects amounts to 40; and the total sum of foreign funds introduced from other provinces by the municipal units directly under the cities that have been obliged to attract investment reaches 1.13 billion CNY.
2. Yueyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, Chenglingji Xingang District, Hunan Green Chemical Industrial Park should respectively sign the contract of and start up at least one industry project valued more than 1 billion CNY; and other counties, cities and industrial parks respectively sign the contract of and start up at least one industry project valued more than 500 million CNY.
3. By the end of August, all counties, cities and municipal units directly under the cities that have been obliged to attract investment should accomplish more than 75% of annual objectives and tasks of attracting businesses and investment.
In addition, performance rate of provincial and municipal projects signed during the Hunan-Yangtze River Delta Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference Week must reach more than 90%.
