Petrochemical Industry

The crude oil processing capacity reaches 15 million tons per year. Yueyang is the location of the largest petrochemical production base in central China. The petrochemical industry is Yueyang’s first 100-billion-yuan industrial cluster. There are 238 petrochemical and complementary scaled enterprises in Yueyang. Four main industrial chains of propylene, carbon four, aromatic hydrocarbon, and carbon one have been formed to produce a batch of leading products with Yueyang characteristics such as lithium polymer, caprolactam, epoxy resin, cyclohexanone, hydrogen peroxide, chloropropylene, and catalyst. The production capacity, output, and market competitiveness are in the forefront of China, occupying a leading position nationwide.
