Tuanhu Lake Scenic Area

Situated in Junshan District, Yueyang, Tuanhu Lake teems with lotuses, hence another name-Lotus Lake. In summer and autumn, numerous lotus leaves like green umbrellas appear on the lake, presenting beautiful scenery. As a poet Yang Wanli of ancient China once described:"The enormous lotus leaves are boundlessly green, while the water lilies are redder in the sun."

Transport: Special buses go from Yueyang Railway Station to the scenic area regularly
