It was learned from the municipal government¡¯s 12345 hotline service center on August 11 that, the service hotline numbers opened by the governments and departments at all levels of Yueyang City will be merged into the municipal government¡¯s 12345 government service convenience hotline. The 12345 hotline service will be more convenient for the people: citizens consulting services from government departments do not need to call at numbers in different categories, just dial "12345".

The General Office of the People¡¯s Government of Hunan Province recently issued the ¡°Work Plan for Further Merging and Optimizing Government Service Convenient Hotlines in Hunan Province¡±. All the non-emergency government service convenient hotlines (including mobile phones), which were set up by the governments and municipal departments at all levels, and was functioned to provide enterprises and the public with business consultation, assistance, complaints, reports, and opinions and suggestions related to their respective regions and departments (including mobile phones), should stop using. All the hotlines will be merged into the municipal government¡¯s 12345 hotline. The government service convenient hotline set up by the relevant departments of the State Council and the provincial government and answered in Yueyang City will be merged into the municipal government's 12345 hotline through three methods: complete integration, dual numbers in parallel, and establishment of sub-centers.

After the merging of the municipal government affairs hotlines at all levels and departments, the municipal government¡¯s 12345 hotline will become the ¡°general customer service¡± of Yueyang municipal government affairs hotline services. Non-emergency requests from citizens and enterprises in the city will be uniformly answered and handled by the municipal government¡¯s 12345 hotline.
