COVID-19 Prevention and Control Notice at Key Public Places

Public places including airports and tourist attractions are more prone to the spread of infectious diseases in light that they are densely populated. Experts from the Hunan Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention reminded that key public places should strictly implement the epidemic prevention and control mechanism, and take measures such as ventilation, cleaning and disinfection, and personal protection.

Airports and stations. Passengers must present a green QR code and a negative nucleic acid test result, have their temperature checked, and wear a mask while checking in and taking an airplane or a train. Staffers must make a declaration of health information, take a health monitoring, and carry out nucleic acid screening regularly. Waiting halls must be ventilated frequently. Public areas and public facilities that are frequently used by passengers must be cleansed and disinfected. Efforts should be taken to improve the flow of passengers to prevent crowded gatherings.

Shopping malls and supermarkets. Special personnel must be assigned to take body temperatures for on-duty staff and customers at the entrance and they may be allowed to enter the shopping malls and supermarkets when the body temperature is normal. All employees must wear masks and use gloves when necessary. Special personnel must be arranged to ask customers to wear masks before entering and wash their hands after returning home. Imported cold chain foods must be transported by special personnel, and cannot be mixed with other cold chain foods. Customers are encouraged to use WeChat pay or Alipay and take elevator reasonably. Shopping malls and supermarkets must be ventilated frequently and various facilities inside must be cleansed and disinfected. Garbage must be cleaned up in time to keep sanitary.

Pharmacy stores. Strict controls must be imposed on customers, including having their body temperature measured, checking their green QR code, asking them to wear masks, and refusing those with COVID-19 symptoms to enter. Staffers must strengthen personal protection, wear masks in a proper way, wear work clothes, and strictly monitor body temperature. The "Hunan Provincial Retail Pharmacy Normalized Epidemic Surveillance and Alert System" is launched to carry out monitoring and reporting of four types of drugs for fever, cough, antiviral, and antibiotics. Keep hygiene and cleaning in the stores.

Theaters. In-advance ticket purchasing, health information declaration and health monitoring must be implemented. The audience must keep a distance, enter and exit in an orderly manner and do not eat or drink in the theater.

Restaurants. Health information declaration and health monitoring must be carried out. Employees are not allowed to work when getting ill. Employees must wear masks, gloves, and work clothes. Serving chopsticks and spoons must be provided. Non-disposable tableware must be disinfected after serving. Customers are encouraged to make an order through digital menus and mobile payment. Ventilation, cleaning and disinfection must be strengthened.

Hotels. Health information declaration and health monitoring must be carried out. Employees are not allowed to work when getting ill. Public supplies in rooms must be disinfected after serving.  Customers are recommended to use mobile payment. Customers are required to comply with epidemic prevention management when checking in.

Banks. Public articles must be disinfected. Staffers make health information declaration and health monitoring, and wear masks and gloves. Service counters and ATM machines are equipped with hand sanitizers. Customers are recommended to use ATM machines for self-service business. Customers are asked to keep a distance of more than one meter when waiting in a line.
