Seven Yueyang Public Institutions Included in National Energy Conservation Demonstration List
It was learnt on February 16 that seven Yueyang units were rated as national energy conservation demonstration public institutions in 2017-2018. They are:
The Yueyang Municipal People's Government General Office;
The CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee Veteran Cadre Bureau;
The Hunan Vocational College for Nationalities;
The Yueyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine;
The Yueyang Municipal Planning Bureau;
The Yueyang Tieshan Water Supply Engineering Administration; and,
The People¡¯s Government of Xinshi Town, Miluo City.
The Yueyang Vocational and Technical College was honored as the ¡°leading energy efficiency¡± unit.
In recent years, under the leadership of the CPC Yueyang Municipal Committee and the People¡¯s Government of Yueyang City, public institutions at all levels have implemented the ¡°Regulations on Energy Conservation Management of Public Institutions¡±. They were encouraged to reduce per capita comprehensive energy consumption, energy consumption per unit of building area, and per capita water consumption, and improve public institutional unit energy and resource utilization efficiency. The contracted energy management was a breakthrough to promote the ¡°integrated, and intelligent¡± public institution energy-saving mode. The energy conservation oriented demonstration unit has been a starting point to help promote energy and resources conservation.
Yueyang has created a thriving, energy-saving, environmentally-friendly, green, low-carbon, civilized, and healthy workstyle and lifestyle. The public institutions¡¯ demonstration role in the work of saving energy in the whole society has been fully played.
