Yueyang, Xiangtan, Changsha, Hengyang Listed among Top 100 Foreign Trade Cities
The General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) released the "2016 Top 100 Chinese Cities in Foreign Trade" recently. Yueyang, Xiangtan, Changsha, and Hengyang of Hunan Province were on the list.
Yueyang debuted on the list and ranked the 35th with a score of 70.5, the highest among Hunan's listed cities. Changsha and Xiangtan were ranked 59th and 46th, with the scores of 69.5 and 69.9 respectively. Hengyang made its second appearance on the list after 2014, ranking 89th with a score of 68.8.
The list was based on the GACC's statistics, considering each city's foreign trade volume, and its competiveness in foreign trade, economic structure, benefit, development, and latent capacity.
This list has been updated and released annually since 2008.
