State Council¡¯s 18th Inspection Team Inspects Yueyang
The State Council¡¯s 18th inspection team, headed by Zhang Tao, Chinese Academy of Sciences vice president, inspected the work of short fences and dilapidated idle houses treatment in Yueyang. They inspected the following areas:
Firstly, Xiangjiang River. The inspection team discussed with chiefs of Yueyang¡¯s relevant sectors over the issues of clearing away populus euramericana from the Dongting Lake; pigs-returning, and grain procurement. Zhang said, ¡°Environmental conservation is our national policy and strategy. We should develop ecology from natural environment.¡±
Secondly, the environment treatment site at Liaoyuan Village, Jinlong Town, Xiangyin County. He was given an introduction of the village on industrial revitalization, ¡®Restroom Revolution¡¯, sewage treatment, garbage treatment, and image improvement, among others. After that, he gave much credit to the performance of Liaoyuan Village on its countryside construction.
Thirdly, Jingzhukou Village, Liutang Township, Xiangyin County. The inspection team learned about the work of dilapidated idle houses treatment and centralized houses-building program. They visited a well-equipped E-commerce Service Center at the Villager Service Center, and were shown the item lists examined and approved at the provincial, municipal, county, and township levels at the Internet Public Service Platform Center.
Fourthly, the centralized houses-building site in Wuyishan Village, Miluo City. Zhang said, urbanization and beautiful countryside construction can be combined in the villages close to cities, so as to relive the environmental conservation pressure. It is important for the city government to make plans in advance and implement them by stages.
